A pozzolan is defined by ASTM C618 as a siliceous or siliceous and aluminous material which, in itself, possesses little or no cementitious value but which will, in finely divided form in the presence of moisture, react chemically with calcium hydroxide at ordinary temperature to form compounds possessing cementitious properties.

Powerpozz™ High Reactive Metakaolin is manufactured starting with specially selected high quality kaolin clay. It is then processed using a uniquely designed open hearth calcining furnace that assures consistent temperature control. This in turn, produces a white, highly pozzolanic or peak reactive quality.
Silica Fume is a high quality refined by-product. Its chemical and physical properties make it a highly reactive pozzolan in cement based applications. The very small particle size distribution provides a distinct advantage for a number of applications.
