Tunis Bay Project Company has announced that it is in talks with various parties for the development of a 523 hectares financial park at the Tunis Bay, Tunisia.

Tunis Bay Project Company, which is a development company for the project, targets to construct North Africa’s first offshore financial center, which will be the first world-class offshore financial center in the region.

Tunis Financial Harbor will consist of four separate business clusters; a Takaful/insurance hub, advisory center, investment banking and an international financial exchange – a first in this region.

Also planned as part of the project is a number of residential and leisure facilities, including Marina, 18-hole championship golf course and a residential complex with luxurious villas.

Tunis Financial Harbor will revive hope for citizens by providing 16,000 new and mostly skilled jobs in various sectors.

Although the company has not signed any deals so far in relation to construction of the Tunis Financial harbor, construction of the harbor will be a first, since it will be strategic to Carthage International Airport – just 15 km away – and at the heart of Mediterranean. Tunis Bay Project Company is based in Dubai.
