The Association of Ethiopian Architects (AEA) announced that it will hold its seventeenth annual meeting and exhibition with the theme: “Designing construction Buildings, Shaping the Built Environment, August 28- 29, 2015 at Sheraton Addis

During a conference held at a monarch Hotel Mr, Wondosen Demirew the Association President said that the association had been given both time and chance due to the importance of holding its yearly conference and exhibition.

AEA is well-known for advancing professional skills and ethics among architects. The association was established in 1991 with an aim of upgrading professional skills and  assist in promoting ethics among architects.

He said that over a thousand graduates are providing up to standard services in the construction industry throughout the Ethiopia.

At the moment more than 10 free universities are offering courses on architecture in Ethiopia. Association Deputy President Amanuel Teshome also said that architects are extremely have been keen on the country’s construction industry, particularly on construction type and design.

The main aim of the Association to hold this meeting and exhibitions is to enables all those in the universities get new ideas because there is a lot that is taught and learnt by all the people present in the conference.
