You are hereby invited to a one day Engineer’s Forum which is scheduled to take place on Friday 30th September 2016, at Hotel Africana, Katonga Hall, starting at 8.00am.The Forum is organized by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).

This year’s event will be under the following theme; “Upholding Engineering Professionalism in an era of Increased Demand for Accountability”.

Papers will be presented under the theme followed by discussions from participants. The conference will therefore be attended by engineers, contractors, consultants, regulators, enforcers, and other associated stakeholders.

This year’s Forum takes special interest in professionalism as it is instilled in the engineer through early education and training, and continuously espoused during professional practice. Ensuring professionalism cannot be done by engineers’ efforts alone, but must be viewed as a society-wide concern.

Thus the ERB considers the scheduled discussion as extremely important as the engineers take a central role in the transformational exertions.

The program will feature the following:

Key note address from Guest of Honor

Recognition of elders

Presentation on Training for Professionalism

Presentation on Ethics and Integrity

Presentation on Modern Technology and Accountability

Presentation on Transparency and Accountability in Public Policy

Presentation on Participatory Development and Technical audits
