CASE Construction Equipment and its official importer in Algeria, ARC Trucksparticipated in the SITP 2016, the 14th edition of the International Trade Fair for Public Works and Construction Machinery, which was held in Algiers from 23 to 27 November 2016.

The brand was present with a product display representative of its full line of light and heavy equipment including crawler excavators, backhoe loaders, skid steer loaders and compact track loaders.

The full package to support Algerian construction businesses
With this full product line, CASE is able to meet the expected increase in demand for construction equipment due to the government’s planned investments in residential building, airport and harbour construction and refurbishment projects, the reconstruction of 14,000 km of roads and the modernisation of the TransSahara highway that links Algiers to Lagos.

Like the 580T, it builds on CASE’s long history with this product line that includesthe world’s first factory-built tractor loader backhoe introduced in 1957. CASE demonstration truck crosses the Mediterranean to offer full brand experience
For the first time in Africa, CASE will support the event with its well-equipped demonstration truck, where it will be able to welcome visitors and offer them a full experience of the CASE brand. The truck has travelled from Söhnstetten in Germanyto the port of Marseilles with driver Daniel Paasch at the wheel.

Driver and truck boarded the ferry ‘La Surprise’ and crossed to Mostaganem, enjoying the fine weather that accompanied them all the way to the Algerian port. Once they disembarked and went through customs, the weather turned and they continued the drive to Algiers in the pouring rain, arriving at the SITP site with plenty of time to set up for the opening of the show.
