The PT-1 can be combined with storage systems to extend the operation times.
PT-1 has several features: It operates under a wide range of temperatures up to 250 °C, it has a single axis tracking, it is aluminum built for maximum durability and reliability, standardized product configuration customized to meet the client’s demands, it has low operation and maintenance costs and it has an efficient conversion of solar thermal energy. Abengoa also offers the RMT, a smaller version of the PT-1 designed for rooftop installations.
