Maverick has participated and completed ground breaking projects around Africa. Notable is the company’s recent manufacture of a 7 x 570kVA Volvo Penta powered generators for Medupi Power Station in Lephalale, Limpopo. These diesel generators power Medupi’s boilers during the curing stage.
Other projects include installation of a 100 kVA Trailer-Mount generator for Xstrata Mining Company in Rustenburg. Maverick’s products are also innovative and based on latest technology. Recently, they built a new MK2 series generator that can power any plant at 20 kVA to 2000 kVA. These have improved sound attenuation technology and weatherproof canopies.
Maverick offers “comprehensive warranty and spares availability” on all products and incorporate engines from leading manufacturers such as Perkins, Volvo-Penta, Cummins, John-Deere and Lovol. On their products list are the KIPOR generators, which are preferred for their good balance between price and performance.
