There is a wide quality product range including mechanical and electrical components, hoist units, cranes, monorail systems, crane maintenance and repairs, refurbishment, modernisation and upgrades.

The Demag crane division was established in South Africa in 1951, and in 1966 they built and completed their own works in Boksburg, adding a major extension in 1974.

The crane division builds two types of cranes: A standard crane, built with Demag series produced components which, up to date manufactured approximately 5200 cranes and a process crane – manufacturing special industrial, steel plant, harbour and container cranes with approximately 1200 cranes supplied up to date.
