Ovivo Aqua SA specialises in EPC projects to deliver water and waste water solutions.Headquartered in Randburg, Ovivo Aqua SA serves the Southern Africa and Indian Ocean islands markets and has been operation in South Africa since 1985.
The company specializes in Industrial and Process Water, including reverse osmosis, ion exchange, Continuous Electrodeionization, Dissolved Air Flotation, and Membrane separation and filtration. In the portable water area, the company specializes in Conventional Clarification, High-rate clarifiers, Thickening, Rapid gravity and pressure filters, Disinfection – Ozone and Chemical dosing and preparation, among others.
The company also offers after sales service contracts in maintenance and training tailored to client’s requirements. In addition to having experienced engineers in waste water management, Ovivo’s partnership with the parent international company helps them offer international technology.
According to the company’s Proposals Engineer, David Knight, Ovivo is currently in construction of KHI and KAXU solar water treatment plants for the production of Demin water for the solar power station in Upington and Pofadder for Abeinsa.
Ovivo also started commissioning of the Demin water treatment plant for the Medupi Power Station, during which Ovivo supplied a Demin mobile plant to assist with commissioning of the water plant and boilers. David advises customers to understand good engineering practice within the water and waste water industry to assist them in specifying their requirements and purchasing a quality product.
Ovivo’s Aftermarket Sales Department can assist with the supply of numerous water and waste water equipment within the Ovivo Global Range, namely: Dissolved Air Flotation, Screening, Clarification, Separation, MBR, Aeration, Ultra Filtration, Reverse Osmosis, Continuous Elector Deionisation and Gas Transfer Membrane.
