Construction of US$ 36.17m Zimbali Suites in South Africa begins
Construction of the US$ 36.17m Zimbali suites, an up-market residential property has begun. The property is located in KwaZulu Natal and is under construction by IFA Hotels and Resorts, a mixed-use resorts and hotels developer listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange.
The Zimbali suites are located next to the Fairmont Zimbali Hotel and will have 131 serviced condos that include 36.2 m² one-bedroom units to 142 m² three-bedroom penthouses upon its completion in 2016.
The suites will have an oceanic view, fully fitted kitchens with contemporary aesthetic designs, as well as maintenance and housekeeping. In addition, tenants in the suites will have access to ample parking space and any additional services or activities that are offered by the Zimbali Coastal Resort and the Fairmont Zimbali Hotel.

Individuals who purchase the ownership of the apartments will also benefit from a rental program that will be managed on their behalf by IFA’s team. IFA launched the sales program for the Zimbali Suites in November 2013 with prices ranging from USD $1,810.56 to 5,704.39 with an average of USD $3,305.26/ m2.
Site preparation works, and piling in Phase 1 of the project were given to Megapile, while the building work for Phase 2 went to contractor ID Construction. The project manager for the Zimbali Suites construction works is MDSA.
