The roots of Dimex Power Electronics lie with parent company Cerdi. In 1998 the company Dimex Power Electronics was set up. Dimex became a business that realizes customized projects for companies who need heavy power for different applications.

Concretely this means electronic power supplies up to 200 kVA, induction heating, DC motor controls and all kinds of transformers. For Bekaert in Deinze the company has made power supplies of 180 kVA with inverter technology and power supplies for the production of solar cells on pvc foil. To CNH in Zedelgem, Dimex delivered power supplies of 500 kVA for treating metal parts with water-based paint. Other names on the reference list are Boucherie from Izegem, Umicore from Hoboken, Electrabel, Eandis, TVH Forklift Parts in Waregem.

Meanwhile, Dimex continue to strive to add value for its shareholders, suppliers, employees, the government and especially its customers. The company is already on its way to become a reference point for power electronics in Belgium.

Dimex assembles customized electric power supplies for several (old) DC-cranes that are still controlled with contactors and resistors. Power supplies of DIMEX for galvanization process are custom made in close cooperation with the end-user Upto 10000A – 100V.

Due to its large machine park, the company can offer customers an assembly of power supplies, housings, cabling, PCB.

Dimex offers a whole range of OEM power supplies with high power output. These are produced from scratch, directly in contact with the customer. So a product is delivered which meets the highest expectations at a price of a standard machine.

According to experts in the company, future trends in transformers are into the latest technology. The company believes that the African continent has reliable and robust environment for its products having sold their products to Algeria, Morocco, Ghana, Congo and South Africa.
