KTISIS is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals used in construction and industrial applications. Its main activities are in the production of industrial flooring and waterproofing systems. KTISIS is based in Peania, Greece (30 km from Athens), and was founded in 1996 by a team of experienced engineers.
The company has developed a strong network of trade representatives and technical companies located in countries based in Europe and the Middle East. Furthermore KTISIS has its own technical applications team that undertakes industrial flooring projects as well as providing technical support solutions to its clients. The close collaboration between the manufacturing and applications team has enabled the company to develop innovative and quality products of the highest technical requirements.

The company offers products such as floor coatings, water repellents, waterproofing products, putties, adhesives and sealants and resin emulsions. In addition, KTISIS offers technical support to all its clients.
Ktisis has its own technical team that undertakes the installation of industrial floors. Over the years the team has installed thousands of square meters of floors in a full range of industries such as pharmaceutical, food processing, wineries, car repair shops, printing presses, logistics centers etc. The team is experienced in all types of flooring jobs ranging from heavy duty to high aesthetic projects (high street stores) with over 150 industrial flooring projects in various industries.
The high quality of our products is the key factor when nurturing close relationships of trust and confidence with our customers.

The company’s products in Africa are found in Egypt and Lybia and clients are advised by experts in the company not to just focus on the price of a product, because many times the actual application cost of a product may rise due to other factors (like consumption). Also a slightly more expensive product may offer double the lifetime of the roof.
“I see a shift from expensive proprietary systems to more hands-on easy to apply products,” said Akis Apostolopoulos from KTISIS.
