With almost 25 years of experience supplying the UK and Ireland’s largest concrete companies, ranging from Lafarge Tarmac, Marshalls/Premier Mortars, John Gunn & Sons, Lagans, Patersons Quarries, Hanson and New Milton Sand & Ballast, they have gained the envious reputation for exceptional product quality and customer service.
They have built various concrete batching plants for each of these customers on sites across the UK and continue to work closely with them and many other customers on new projects. Over the years they have built concrete batching plants in a wide variety of sizes, right from small mobile plants to large storage capacity bins and batches capable of output in excess of 120 cubic metres per hour.

As more and more contracts are focusing on the carbon footprint /m3 of concrete to qualify for ‘green’ credentials. Site batching helps reduce transportation energy consumption. With an increase in projects being conducted in rural and urban areas our mobile batching plant assists in reducing transportation and reduction of traffic.

McCrory Engineering’s complete batching plants with the latest twin shaft mixers

Their batching plants can come complete with the latest twin shaft mixers which can pump up to 60m3 of concrete per hour per plant. Efficiency is now a key factor when producing concrete for specific jobs, especially with tight deadlines.

Their mobile batching plants can appear completely self erecting using an onboard hydraulic system without the hassle of using a crane which again saves costs and time. Installation times have decreased with some batching plants even only taking two hours between two men to get up and going.

Decreasing costs is always at the forefront of any successful business and with the latest mobile batching plant technology, it allows you to do this with immediate effect.

In this instance their mobile batching plants allow you to pay for what you need, even allowing you for mis-measurement of pour size. Now you can batch what you need when you need it.

According to McCrory Engineering’s marketing manager currently their products are not available in Africa but they are considering getting active agents across the continent.
