The company delivers standard photovoltaic panels(used for off-grid and  on-grid systems), as well as  flexible modules and BIPV systems. The company is very flexiblebecause of its convenient location and the ability to perform the low volume, dedicated production, while also professional advice in this regard. Therefore XDISC performs bespoke projects, tailored to clients’ needs and managesspecial, even the most unusual orders.

High product quality, reasonable prices and short lead time makes XDISC offer unique.XDISC has a production capacity of 30 MW per year, offering solutions for domestic and foreign markets. The company’s products are available in Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda.Experts in the company advice clients to pay attention to the quality of all components of the off-grid PV system: panel and batteries. Photovoltaic system should work at least 20 years and the battery lifetime is from 5 to 12 years. Choosing of the cheapest PV modules of questionable quality is an illusory saving, because they must be replaced almost every year.

Offered by XDISC off-grid ACTIVESOL photovoltaic kits are excellent in quality and easy to install. They make their users independent from external power source. In Central Africa, an average daily energy production of ACTIVESOL KIT 150W amounts to 580Wh. That means that daily energy generated bythe kit is sufficient for

·         12 hours of constant work of a 44” TV set

·         18 hours of constant work of a 22” TV set with a DVD player

·         10 hours of constant work of 2 30W bulbs

·         14,5 hours of constant work of 2 hair trimmers

·         6 hours of constant work of a water pump

·         14,5 hours of constant work of a ᴓ 43 standard fan

·         24h hours of constant work of a 130l refrigerator

Currently photovoltaic in Africa is mainly based on the off-grid systems. The most popular solution is a mini (ca. 100W) PV system that consists of battery and one or two panels. In the near future such mini systems will be connected in the local nets, so the system’s productivity and effectiveness will increase and the whole parameters will be optimised.
