An industrial hub is set to be constructed in Angola at a cost of US $350m. This was after an Angolan Investment Group agreed to be developers of the hub.

This particular investment will be constructed in Angola by Silverstre Tulumba e Investment (STI) an Angolan Investment firm which has speciality in Real Estate, car trade, Hospitality, food distribution and spare parts sales.

According to the CEO for the firm, Silvestre Tulumba Kapose, the industrial hub project will be focused on the construction of a brewery, soft drink plant, dairy products factory, mill and slaughterhouse.

Finances for the project were received through a partnership that the Silverstre Tulumba e Investment had with Germany.

Kapose further noted that they needed the assistance of the Government Institutions in order for the project to move forward.

The Lubango Industrial Hub is expected to be completed by the end of four years creating up to 2000 jobs.

STI has been functioning for more than a decade in Angola. The firm recently launched an agricultural project in Uaba which is estimate to cost US$120m with an area of 13 000 acres. The plant will focus on producing 20mn liters of milk and 60 000 tonnes of grain every year.
