The Saudi-Egyptian Construction Company (SECON) is now set to construct a four star hotel in Egypt after signing an agreement with Hilton Worldwide.

According to SECON officials they will manage a four-star hotel on the beach of New Damietta expected to cost US$13Million.

The four star hotel in Egypt which will commence soon will be part of SECON’s tourism residential project that they have recently carried.

SECON’s CEO Darwish Hassanain added that their company is committed to raise its portfolio and they had set up a plan in targeting the development agenda in Egyptian government.

The CEO added that the project will be constructed swiftly in an area covering 17.7 acres and will be one of the largest steps in tourism development in Egypt.

“The project is expected to shade light in on New Damietta city as one of the important port cities” he added

Construction of the hotel in Egypt  is expected to cover 8,800 sqm, with a capacity of 130 rooms and suites which will be constructed using the latest technology.

“The company plans to inaugurate the hotel in mid-2018, and we selected Hilton to ensure the management of the project in accordance with international hotel standards,” Hassanain said.

Hassanain previously told Daily News Egypt in an interview that his company has engaged with Hilton to manage the project, also ensuring that the hotel is in line with Hilton’s World Tourism criteria from the very beginning.

He added that abiding by Hilton’s World Tourism criteria is the perfect way to avoid any difficulties in the hotel management, as well as avoid modification costs of any defects or errors.
