HPE Africa recently launched H940s backhoe loader series that replaced the H930s . According to reports it has been well received by the local market due to its unequaled value in terms of fuel efficiency, low operating costs and powerful loader performance that is consistent despite tough operating conditions.
Alex Ackron, managing director HPE Africa said they received positive feedback about Hyundai’s new fesatures for improved operator comfort as well as the simplified maintenance.

The equipment is perfectly designed to meet the growing demand from businesses in need of compact machines for smaller projects without necessarily having to make a sizeable capital investment in large excavators and leaders.
Furthermore, the operator is guaranteed visibility when digging around buried construction like water mains, sewer pipes and utility lines by the integrally welded high strength loader boom. This is one feature that heavily contributes to the exceptional performance of the backhoe.
Another noteworthy aspect about the H940s is the extensive onsite testing analysis of over 750 hours undertaken. Fuel consumption was thereafter recorded at an average 5.5 litres per hour. The optional ride control system in the H940s improves productivity, safety and operator comfort. It is further fitted with a shock absorbing accumulator that minimizes loader arm-bounce. Optimum power is evenly distributed on account of Hyundai’s load sensing hydraulic system based on the required load requirement. The flexibility of the machine can be seen its efficiency both when operating in a trench application for control digging or when suitable speed is needed for high productivity application.

Under the hood is a low noise. Fuel efficient environmentally friendly turbo charged Perkins 2 tier diesel engine. The hood also provides convenient access to the engine compartment. This not only makes the H940s easily serviceable but also reduces time consumed in maintenance.
