Elquip Solutions, an established local provider of global electrical, automation, mechanical and consumable products as well as capital equipment will be exhibiting in this year’s Machine Tools Africa expo.
The 9th of May marks the opening of the four-day event which showcases manufacturing equipment, including rotating, turning, cutting, forming, bending and shaping tools. Machines from Elquip Solutions’ international principals Behringer and YLM Group, among others, will be on display.
Elquip will be featuring a CNC 38-RSM five-axis 38mm bending machine from YLM, a leading Taiwan-based manufacturer of tube bending equipment. which has also recently been sold to a customer. According to Regional Manager for the YLM Group, Bella Lin, the bending machine, which comes with a punching function will enhance the productivity of any manufacturer or steel fabricator.
HBE 312 A Dynamic and the LPS 60-T bandsaws, as well as the HCS 90 E circular cold saw, from Behringer’s subsidiary Behringer Eisele – a technology leader in the field of bandsaws – are among the exhibitions. Kinkelder, Röntgen, Hoffmann and Saar-Hartmetall tools will also be featured.
Examples of Kinkelder’s technologically-advanced carbide blades for cutting tube and bar will be on display, while Röntgen’s complete range of bimetal and carbide-tipped band saw blades for cutting of metals from standard materials up to super alloys will be exhibited.
Elquip will also be displaying ranges within the house brands from German tooling specialist Hoffman: Holex and Garant. Saar-Hartmetall, a manufacturer of blanks, tools, roll rings, tungsten carbide wear resistant parts, PM alloys and steels, will have its range of internal and external deburring tools, which are used for finishing cut tubes on display.
