Construction giant, Julius Berger Nigeria, JBN, is set to introduce a new technology to construction of roads in the country, which would ground the old asphalt, treat and use it to increase the thickness and height of the asphalt for enduring roads.
The Managing Director of Julius Berger Nigeria, Wolfgang Goetsch said that the company would, with the new technology, construct more lasting and enduring roads with an asphaltic concrete thickness of 12 cm, adding that the old asphalt will be gathered, grounded and treated to make the road thicker and more solid.
Goetsch added that the company has 24 ongoing and newly awarded projects while promising to complete most of its projects on schedule.
