With a combined experience of nearly 100 years in the field of electrical windings production, Elettromeccanica Mercanti, DUE ESSE and MTW joined their efforts with the objective of becoming one contact on a national and international level for the supply of windings for distribution and power transformers dry type, oil-immersed and cast resin with power ranging from 10kVA to 100 MVA.

The partners
DUE ESSE constructs customised electrical windings for dry type, oil-immersed and cast resin power transformers for clients in the energy, marine, rail and industrial sectors. They have thirty years of experience combined with constant effort which have earned the company numerous collaborations with leading manufacturers and repairers of transformers at national and international level. In 2003, DUE ESSE obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 certification and is subject to periodic scrutiny of the business management system by DET NORSKE VERITAS.
They manufacture windings for power transformers and windings for special transformers and autotransformers with power ranges of 2.000kVA-100MVA. The types of coils they manufacture are: high voltage, low voltage, medium voltage and regulation windings of the various types like Layers, Continuous disc, Mixed, Interleaved disc, Obar, Reactances, Barrel etc.
ELLETROMECCANICA MERCANTI began its operations in 1972 and for over 40 years has been carrying out the family tradition with dedication and passion gaining the trust and appreciation of the most important international companies in the industry. The company specializes in the production of primary and secondary windings for distribution transformers in oil up to a power of 1.600kVA coils for cast resin transformers, windings in general for all uses in the electronics and electromechanical industries. They manufacture layers and sub-coils types of windings whose shapes can vary from round, oval, rectangular and octagonal.
They also offer other products like: cooling channels (duct spacing) for distribution transformers from class A to class H, using various shapes of fiberglass, wood and pressboard rods.
MTW is a young company, founded at the end of 2011, but has a long history and experience handed from generation to generation in electrical engineering applied to the electrical windings for transformers. MTW is at the forefront of new technologies and is specialised in primary and secondary windings for distribution transformers with flattening process on copper and aluminium wire. They have highly experienced staff and technologically advanced equipment thus allowing the company to meet all construction requirements.
The Company owners all agree that clients should research the supplier market to find the best solution, not the cheapest.
The export department also adds that the new market trend is to concentrate on saving money through innovation and more efficient management. Increasing attention is also given to building trustworthy relations with partners that can adapt quickly and that have the necessary experience to give advice and support through every step, from project design to construction of components.
