Vista Windows Limited is among the market leaders in the manufacturing and supply of uPVC products in Kenya for over a decade now. It is the first of its kind in Eastern and Central Africa to focus exclusively on uPVC products.

The company boasts of brands like Vista windows, Vista doors, Vista ceilings, Vista curtain rails, Vista guards, and most recently, the Vista skirting and Vista roofing sheets. “Our range of products gives a lasting solution for every corner of the home, while adding a touch of elegance and sophistication at affordable rates.” Mr. Kamaldip Bansal, the General Manager says.

The company has an ultra-modern facility that houses the offices, and showroom, state-of-art extrusion machines and a fully equipped fabrication shop, all acquired from amongst the leading manufactures in the world.

“We have an expert professional team that makes sure Vista products and services are of the highest possible quality and standard,” Kamal says. Vista devotes considerable amount of resources to stay ahead in this respect including investment in their own accredited in-house testing facility which conforms fully to KEBS (Kenya Bureau of Standards).

“Vista uPVC products are a superior alternative to wood, steel and aluminium products. They last longer because they do not rot like wood or get corroded,” says Kamal. They are easy to clean and maintain using soap and water.

They are also available in a range of colors like white, brown, golden yellow, mid-brown, cream and more. This means that no painting is required. They are an economical choice for the long term because they are maintenance free.

They are also light in weight, easy to transport, handle and store. They also have a balanced formulation that ensures a self-extinguishing property in case of a fire, and a multi-chamber design that regulates the temperatures in buildings.

Vista windows and doors are reinforced with steel sections inside to make them strong and durable, and ultimately ensure the security of the home or office. “Due to its nature, uPVC can be easily molded, which makes it ideal for main doorways and rounded, hexagonal or other unique designs the clients come up with for doors and windows,” Kamal adds. Depending on client requirements and specifications, the uPVC windows and doors can also be made bullet-proof and noise-proof.

The recently introduced Vista roofs are UV resistant and can be used in varied climatic conditions. Kamal says they are on high demand especially at the Coast because of the problem of iron sheets getting corroded as fast as even 6 months after installation. The Vista ceiling profile is based on the traditional T&G system using the highest grade of UV-resistant uPVC.

Vista has worked on major projects like the Kahama Hotel, Serena Hotel, Greenpark Estate in Athi River, and Leopard beach hotel in Mombasa. “Some of these projects like the Kahama Hotel have been there for over 15 years, which is proof of Vista uPVC products’ durability and strength,” Kamal says.

However, according to Kamal, there is an influx of Chinese products that are sold at up to half the price, which poses a big challenge to the business.

“We offer high end products that suit the small clients as well as the high end clients in terms of cost. Our product quality is what keeps the client loyal to our brand, because we do an efficient, one time job.” In the near future, Vista Windows looks to be the pioneer manufacturer of uPVC tiles in Kenya.
