Pure Products Limited which is a Water Packaging firm in Uganda, Kampala has won entrepreneur of the year award in the 4th edition of the E4Impact MBA programme that targets entrepreneurs.

Over 40 entrepreneurs applied for the mentorship programme at the Uganda Martyrs University but only 37 were able to make it through the 18 month long exercise. This is quite a success according to the programme co-coordinator Mr.

Felix Idraku who said their aim to mentor and expose the entrepreneurs to different fields where they can learn to present their ideas in different forums.

The overall winner is set to receive financial support as well as mentorship from key experts in the field.

The programme is a partnership between Uganda Martyrs University E4Impact MBA and University of Milan which is aimed at training entrepreneurs.

Mr. Dennis Kimbugwe who is also the founder of PPL aims at installing water Auto Teller Machines through his winning project especially in public places that are usually affected by cholera in a bid to provide safe drinking water.

The machine is capable of producing 20 litres which is targeting the 70% population that does not have access to treated water and cannot afford bottled water.
