Plans are underway for the construction of Avalon Park in Florida. The plans were announced by Middleburg Communities. The development will include two residential communities in Wesley Chapel.
Recently, the developer closed on two parcels of land totaling 49 acres adjacent to Friendly Way located off of FL-54. The project will feature a multifamily Mosby Avalon Park and a build-to-rent (BRT) Hamlet Avalon Park residential development.
Middleburg has marked Avalon Park in Florida as its fifth and largest acquisition in Florida during the past year. According to Middleburg, they secured a $47.5 million loan from Synovus Bank and paid $14.7 million for both parcels. Therefore, the company said it’s grateful to Synovus Bank and other investment partners for having confidence in their ability to execute.

The Hamlet Avalon Park will be built in a future phase as a 260-unit BRT community. It will consist of single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes, which will come with private entries, patios, and yard space. In addition, the property will offer attached garages in select units and luxurious interior designs. Residents will have access to a resort-style pool, gym, dog park, and pet spa.
The Avalon Park in Florida will be built within a 1,600-acre Avalon Park Wesley Chapel master-planned community. Presently, the 1,600-acre community accommodates up to 4,800 units and 500,000 square feet of retail and commercial space. Its location is also in close proximity to interstates 75 and 275, offering residents easy access to downtown Tampa.
