The management contract for The Grove mixed-use development project within Abu Dhabi city in the Saadiyat Cultural District has officially been awarded. The contract was awarded to Hill International, Inc., an American construction consulting firm founded back in 1976.

As part of the project management consultancy (PMC) services contract, Hill International will not only offer project management. It will also be in charge of construction management, HSE management, and cost and schedule control. In addition, the American company will oversee document control and other “as-needed” support.

Overview of The Grove mixed-use development project

The project encompasses the development of a total of 2,000 residential units, two world-class hotels, and 400 serviced apartments. In addition, 130,000 square meters of experiential lifestyle and retail space will also be developed. All these will be spread across three districts, i.e the Grove Heart, Louvre Apartments, and the Dunes Villas.

Phase 1 of the project, which Hill international has been contracted will encompass more than 440,000 sq m built-up area of residential and commercial facilities. All of these forms the Grove Heart and Louvre Apartments and they are expected to be completed by December 2024. 45,000 sq built-up area of the Dunes 83 Villas will also be developed as part of the first phase of The Grove. These have an expected completion date of November 2023.

The Grove mixed-use development project location offers an easy reach of several notable attractions. These include the Abu Dhabi Louvre, Guggenheim, and Sheikh Zayed National Museum. Once fully complete, the Grove will be linked through its surrounding plazas to these museums.

When fully completed the development will become Abu Dhabi’s most coveted address. It will serve as a hub for visitors to the three world-class museums as well as residents of the island.
