Mota-Engil has been awarded a new road infrastructure project in Angola. The value of the contract is US$ 212m and the work will be executed within 10 months.

The project has an extension of 10.5 km and includes the rehabilitation of the expressway Fidel Castro Ruz/Camama – Pedro de Castro Van-Dúnem “Loy” Avenue and of the Camama/Via Expressa road junction, and micro and macro drainage networks, as well as the construction of the flyover in the road junction of Camama’s old roundabout.

The act of consignment of the road section Golfe–Camama took place. The event was attended by the Minister for Construction, Artur Fortunato, the Governor of the Province of Luanda, Higino Carneiro and other illustrious figures of the board of the Angolan National Road Institute, the supervising body DAR Angola, the coordinator of the Grupotec project, the planner BDM – Engenharia e Tecnologia, as well as by distinguished representatives from Mota-Engil Angola.

Present in Angola for 70 years, Mota-Engil Angola thus continues to support the development of the most important infrastructure projects in the country.
