Since its launch of operations in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the graph has progressed only upwards as regards the business development of one of Europe’s leading aluminum system supplier, Reynaers Aluminum.

Reynaers introduced its international standard products in the highly active construction market of Egypt early in 2006. Today, it has emerged as one of the most progressive markets within the cluster of the Middle Eastern countries handled by the local arm – Reynaers Middle East.

Despite, the recent unrest in the country, this segment of the business has witnessed fluctuating but fairly upward turnover figures so much that in 2014 the Egyptian market achieved record high sales for the region among ten different countries under the Middle East portfolio.

With a population of approximately 100 million, this market offers substantial potential both in the commercial and residential projects. The start of Reynaers business in Egypt was marked by the supply of the curtain walling system for Cairo Staidum that was renovatec for the African Nation Football Championship which was luckily won by Egypt national team. The consultant was Moharram/Bakhoum.

In 2009, a country manager was appointed specially catering to business development in this region. Engineer Wissam Yanni has since then spear headed the Egypt market operations. A branch office was officially inaugurated in 2012 providing full technical and commercial services to the customers.

Some of the landmark projects include the Mall of Egypt with consultants MZECH/RMC, Etisalat Telecom HQ, Le Meridian Hotel and DamacHydepark Mall with consultants ECG. Some of the other notable projects include PetroJet HQ, Hazem Maher office building, Wadi Nile Hosptial, Business Link and New Mix Factory by consultants Ennpi, Archilab,  Dr. Ahmed El Sherif, Madar and New age respectively.

The Waterway Mall by RaefFahmi Architects, Amer Group HQ by El GabalyArhictects and Rashdan Developments by the Aluvation Group are some of the projects which are currently under construction.

This market also has a promising business segment as regards the residential market. The elegantShadihani villa, Amr NouNou villa and the M. Abdel Salam villa are few of the prominent high profile villas having various Reynaers systems.

The Egyptian customer whether for projects or residential sector is technically savvy yet price conscious demanding the best quality of products and given the scene of stiff competition it is no doubt that Reynaers has emerged as a strong contender supplying high quality European aluminum systems solutions. Today the company is a well-established brand in the Aluminum Systems sector and a widely chosen one among architects, consultants and fabricators seeking off the shelf as well as customized solutions.

Among the top demanded products are the Curtain Walling solutions mainly the CW-50 SC, however the sliding systems like the CP 96 and CP 50 and the CS 59 windows and doors have been installed in various projects across the country.  This region is also beginning to recognize the significance of energy efficient solutions like the CW 50-HL and the BS 100 sun screening systems.
