Airports Company South Africa SOC Ltd invites suitably qualified tenderers to submit bids for the above services.

Bid documents can be obtained at no charge by download from Treasury Departments Central Supplier Database

A compulsory clarification meeting will be held at 10H30 AM on Friday 04TH August 2017 at Cape Town International Airport Southern Office Block Building, Ground floor – Reception area.

The bid closes on Friday 18th August 2017 at 12H00. All bid documents must be provided in duplicate (printed) format and Electronic (Flash Drive) sealed in a clearly marked envelope / package marked with Bidder’s name, return address and Bid Description and must be hand delivered or deposited into the tender box situated at Procurement – Ground floor of the Southern Office Block Building

Airports Company South Africa reserves a right to withdraw, cancel or not award any issued tender.
NB: No tender will be awarded to any person whose tax matters have not been declared to be in order by the South African Revenue Services.

Bidders must accept the Terms and Conditions of the Bid – incl insurance requirements;
Bidders must attend compulsory briefing/clarification session and site inspection;
Bidder must provide proof of registration with a recognized Built Environment (e.g. CIDB EP / EP PM) body related to the services required;
Bidder to provide proof of CIDB Grade: CIDB: 3EP and suppliers with a CIDB 2EP PE are also allowed to tender.
Bidders Tax Matters must be declared in order by SARS – Proof can be submitted in one of the following ways:
Valid and Original Tax Clearance Certificate
Valid – SARS issued PIN
CSD Report – full report submitted
Bidder’s must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD, Fully registered suppliers must provide their MAAA number
Bidders to have a valid letter of good standing issued by the Department of Labour or F.E.M
Bidders to Accept ACSA NEC3 Contracting type

Bidders must meet the Mandatory Administration Criteria for them to be evaluated further. Proposals will be evaluated in four phases

Phase One – Mandatory / Administrative
Phase Two – Functionality/Technical
Phase Three – Price/Preference
Phase Four – Post Tender Negotiations. – If and when required

Phase Four – Price & BBBEE
This phase is based on the 80/20 Preference point system in terms of the preferential procurement Policy Framework Act, with 80 points allocated for price and 20 points for B-BBEE recognition. ACSA will only accept the DTI criteria as proof of B-BBEE status.

Airports Company South Africa subscribes to the National Transformation Imperatives and B-BBEE objectives as such it will appoint service provider(s) who are transformed in terms of Codes of Good Practice requirements and targets. Transformation Imperatives includes but are not limited to skills development, enterprise development, localization, etc
