1. The Kenya Airports Authority invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for rehabilitation of existing lighting control systems at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. The work shall involve supply, delivery to site and installation of new pumps, control and electrical distribution systems for the pumping equipment, training, testing and commissioning within a period of 20 weeks. 2. Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information from and inspect the tender documents at the Kenya Airports Authority Headquarters at JKIA, 2nd Floor, office of the Manager (Procurement & Logistics), Nairobi at the address given below from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm local time, Monday to Friday except lunch time between 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm and on public holidays. 3. A complete set of tender documents in English language may be obtained by interested candidates upon payment of non-refundable fees of Kenya Shillings one Thousand Only (KShs. 1,000/-) or an equivalent amount in freely convertible currency in cash or Bankers cheque payable to the Managing Director, Kenya Airports Authority. Tenderers who had earlier purchased the bidding documents will be given the new documents free of charge. 4. A site visit and pre-tender meeting shall be conducted on 15th June 2017 at 10:00 am local time. Tenderers shall converge at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport conference room located on the roof top of the parking garage. 5. Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be in Kenya Shillings or an amount in a freely convertible currency and shall remain valid for ninety (90) days from the tender submission deadline. 6. Completed tender documents shall be submitted in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked REPLACEMENT OF DOMESTIC WATER PUMPS INCLUDING UPGRADING OF WATER PUMPING STATION EQUIPMENT AT JOMO KENYATTA INTENATIONAL AIRPORT TENDER NO. KAA/ES/JKIA/1155/E and deposited in the Tender Box located on the 2nd Floor at Kenya Airports Authority Headquarters Complex at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi or to be addressed to The Managing Director Kenya Airports Authority P. Tenders will be opened immediately after on 21st June 2017 at 11.00 am local time in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend the opening at the Conference Room, 5th Floor, Kenya Airports Authority Headquarters.
