Tanzania invites sealed bids for installation of solar plants for Mlele District Council

The government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the installation of solar plant at Inyonga town during the financial year 2017/2018.
It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract.
The Mlele District Council now invites sealed bids from eligible Tanzanian contractors registered or capable of being registered in CLASS IV.

Mlele District Council tender details
The scope of works includes the procurement and installation of solar plant complete of Q= 24m1 /h, Head =120m.
Bidding will be conducted through the open competitive bidding procedures specified in the procurement government Notice No. 455A of 2011 section 67 and its Regulation GN 446 of 2013 for procurement of goods, works, non-consultancy service and disposal of public assets by tender.
Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office of the Secretary of the Tender Boar~ Mlele District Council from 8:00am to 15:30pm from Mondays to Fridays.
A complete set of bidding documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address provided, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Tsh 200,000 ($89).
Payment should either be by Cash, Banker’s Draft, or Banker’s Cheque, payable to District Executive Director, Mlele District Council.
