The company is a one-stop shop well known specialist in new and second-hand forklifts and aerial work platforms with a stock of 2000 machines irrespective of the brand, the type and the year of construction of the material handling or industrial equipment machine.
TVH operates under Parts and Accessories and Rental and Equipment. The Rental and Equipment is divided into three divisions; Equipment Division (sales of new and second-hand forklifts and aerial work platforms), Rental Division (short- and long-term rental of forklifts and aerial work platforms) and Service & Repair Division. The Rental Division is active in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxemburg, the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia. The Service & Repair Division is a service operative in Belgium while Parts & Accessories and the Equipment Division are active worldwide.
With a workforce of over 3800 people and subsidiaries on all continents, TVH is a worldwide market leader in replacement parts and accessories for material handling and industrial vehicles, new and second-hand forklifts, new and second-hand aerial work platforms and internal handling equipment. TVH rents out for temporary projects providing a cost effective solution to customers. Additionally, they have, only for their domestic market, a workforce of 60 specialized mobile engineers who answer all questions on site and have a fully equipped service van that contains a wide variety of parts while on their workshop, they have 55 in- house engineers working on effective solutions offering any company a custom- made maintenance contract at a fixed (annual) intervention price.
TVH’s electronics department is Europe’s largest, best-equipped and most diverse service centre for the repair of electronic parts for forklifts, aerial work platforms and industrial vehicles.
The TVH logistic department is organized optimally to meet customers’ demands guaranteeing 24/48 hours service worldwide, 90% of all orders delivered on a next-day basis in Europe while the company continues investing in automation and optimization of logistics processes to be able to service clients faster.
TVH’s Pr & Events Group Communication Advisor Debbie Manhaeve says that for more than 20 years the company has been present in Africa selling most of its second-hand units in Maghreb, Northern and South Africa prompted by their worldwide presence and flexibility. Debbie adds it is better to consult a seller on a certain machinery rather than working on a fixed budget and all future trends depend on both local and national economical development.
