Arab constructors have announced that they are set to construct residential houses in Egypt worth US$5 million. The move is aimed at boosting housing in the country.
According to head of Arab Contractors Mohammed Taher the company has been working on the project that is located in the country’s southern borders and it will be complete in few months time.
He said by 2016 the company will construct 15 residential houses in Egypt Shalateen, situated around 1,000 kilometers (622 miles) southeast of Cairo.
Mohammed added that the company has been in the forefront to complete their project ends on time and they look forward to change the face of housing industry in the next few years.
In addition, Arab Contractors plans to hand over ten residential buildings in Halayeb, a mineral-rich border triangle between Sudan and Egypt, besides five others in the village of Abu Ramad just 30 kilometers (19 miles) north of Halayeb.
Taher also said the residential buildings will be delivered in cooperation with the country’s Central Authority for Reconstruction, which supervises that the housing projects, infrastructure and water network works and in the Red Sea region.
Delivering the housing units in Shalateen, Abu Ramad, and Halayeb will coincide with Red Sea governorate’s national day celebrations, the official noted.
