Leading  importer and distributor of Electrical Cables and Accessories Reroy Cables in Ghana, has been feted in the 2014 Manufacturing Company of the Year at the 26th Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Awards.

The company’s  Chief Executive Officer Mrs Kate Quartey-Papafio was awarded marketing woman of the year for 2013.

In 2012, Reroy Cables in Ghana was shortlisted for the Pride of Ghana Award at the maiden edition of the Ghana Made Product Awards and Exhibition 2012. The awards has exposed the company across the country and created awareness, with an aim to promote and build product loyalty to save and move it to international level.

The leading indigenous cable manufacturing company based in Ghana manufactures fire-resistant cables made in Ghana and prides itself with high quality standard of goods and services. The cables are improved fire resistant made by the state-of-the-art machines to address fire outbreaks in the country.

According to Reginald Quartey-Papafio, the Executive Member of the Reroy Group, the company has strategically positioned itself compete effectively with foreign counterparts.

However, local manufacturers are urged to express their patriotism and contribute to the development and financial stability of the nation as well as making conscious efforts to promote the country’s economy through purchasing the Made in Ghana products. In this regard, President John Mahama prohibited the importation of electrical cables and transformers as far as quality of the products is concerned.

President Mahama further stated that, the nation can be free of repeated fire breakouts if local businesses will consider investing in the manufacturing of quality electrical cables and transformers locally.
