Transcorp Hilton has announced its intension to conduct a major renovation to upgrade the five-Star Transcorp Hilton Abuja, Nigeria. The hotel full renovation activities will be completed within a period of 18 months.

“The upgrade is the first of its kind in the 30-year history of the hotel,” said Valentine Ozigbo, CEO and Managing Director of Transcorp Hotels Plc. “the upgrade underpins our commitment to delivering an experience that cannot be duplicated by any other hotel.” She added.

Decades ago, Transcorp Hilton hotel set the high gold standard for others to follow. However, once the renovation is completed Transcorp hotel customers will experience a brand new and ultramodern furnishing concept to rival other five-star hotels globally.

Living Design, a Swedish award-winning interior design company has been awarded the contract to redesign 670 guest rooms and suites. The company has added an extra touch of luxury to the exquisite finish and furnishing of the hotel.

Transcorp Hilton renovation includes refurbishing of the hotel lobby, Congress Hall, meeting rooms, Executive Lounge, elevators and elevator lobbies.

Additionally, the spa and restaurants will as well be subjected to renovation to reflect the modern traveler standards with high expectations. The hotel will not be shut down during the renovation period, however, minimal disruptions will be experience given that, at any given time no more than three floors will be closed.

In order to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction, selected services and facilities will be relocated. Despite the minor changes during the upgrading period, the hotel will remains operational and committed to exceeding expectations.
