Remarks on the construction of inclusive empowerment centre in Ghana

Dr. Bawumia said, “Since you started the “Day of Help” for people with disabilities, I have been following your remarkable efforts to provide this vulnerable population with medical attention, assistive gadgets, and other necessities.”

“In order to fully integrate into our communities, people with disabilities must overcome a multitude of social, psychological, physical, educational, transportation, and communication challenges every day. These barriers result in negative consequences such as social marginalization, and issues with physical and mental health. As well as stigmatization, discrimination, low self-esteem, and problems with money,” he continued.

“This historic event for the inclusive empowerment centre in Ghana serves as a call to action to support PWDs. I will urge everyone to donate generously to this great endeavour, including corporate Ghana, the donor community, and development partners. As well as associations and clubs, religious institutions, and individual donors. Donations of construction supplies and equipment for the hospital and skill training facilities, as well as technical support from development partners, are all appreciated,” he emphasized.
