Turkish Earthquake Survivors Housing is yet to be soon delivered according to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change which announced that a total of 92 houses which were all adhering to the architectural style in the region have already been built to carter for the housing needs of the survivors who were victims of the earthquake that occurred in the month of February in the villages of Kahramanmaraş’s Türkoğlu district.

The minister in charge of the directorate, Mehmet Özhaseki, pointed out by describing the efforts that were in progress of the Turkish earthquake survivors housing construction in the three villages that were linked to Türkoğlu which were located at the heart of the Feb 6. Earthquakes that hit the district. The minister further stated that they were tirelessly working around the clock to make sure that the victims of the earthquakes could get a chance of going back to peaceful homes and lead normal lives once again in a span of short time.

The Turkish earthquakes survivors housing homes have been designed and constructed as three bedroom homes have been built in such a way that they get to meet and supplement the needs and demands of the rural residents. The houses contain one kitchen that is quite spacious, a single comfortable living room and separate bedrooms for children and parents.

The manager of the project, Mehmet Suat Şahin, pointed out that the construction works of 41 houses in the neighborhood of Özbek was nearing completion. Moreover, he stated that the rest 44 houses located in the Kadıoğlu Çiftliği neighborhood and the other 7 in Kelibişler neighborhood were still in the progress of construction. Lastly, he pointed out that the Turkish earthquake survivors housing homes had a net area of 121 square meters and patios were insulated thus making them able to withstand hot summers and the cold winters. Lastly, he said that they were putting in intense construction works with a team of 700 personnel on the Turkish earth quake survivors housing project to finish the houses within 45 days and that following the completion of the construction works at Kadıoğlu Çiftlik, they were putting in a lot of hard work in order to ensure the completion of 25 houses in Özbek by Eid al-Adha.
