Construction has officially begun at the new Residence Inn by Marriott at Northgate Station Complex in Seattle. Simon, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment and mixed-use destinations, made the announcement.

The hotel is the first and most recent construction in this top-notch, mixed-use complex in the centre of Northgate Station. It will be a crucial community asset. It will give visitors easy access to the Northgate Sound Transit station and the newly renovated Northgate Sound Transit light rail bus stop.

Moreover, Residence Inn by Marriott will be connected to the Northgate Station shopping centre and the Kraken Community Iceplex. The Kraken Community Iceplex is the official training ground for the Seattle Kraken NHL club. In addition, it is a focal point for ice sports in the Pacific Northwest.

Development of the Northgate Station Complex

This year, the multi-stage development will continue, and a new recreational area is expected to debut this summer.

Upon completion, this mixed-use, transit-oriented development will offer a sustainable and lively live, work, play, stay, and retail experience for the Northgate Station and the surrounding community.

Meanwhile, throughout the building phase, visitors can make use of Northgate Station’s stores, eateries, and public spaces.
