An 8-story high mixed use multifamily development dubbed Wynhouse Miami will soon go up at Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood in Florida. Recently, Fisher Brothers broke ground on the new project, which will bring 308 units and a retail component to the location. The developer also secured $117.5 million in financing from JP Morgan Chase and affiliates of Canyon Partners.

The Wynhouse Miami mixed-use development will take place at 2200 NW First Ave in Miami. According to the developers, the project’s  architect, Nichols Architects, examined the culture and history of the location while designing it. Therefore, the  design of the property reflects  Wynwood’s history of street art and its network of connected alleyways. The architect included  two public passageways known as paseos, for an improved pedestrian experience and to increase the neighborhood’s connectivity. Additionally, public art will also be incorporated into the building’s façade  and the paseos as well.

Development plans for Wynhouse Miami

The Wynhouse Miami residences will offer a mix of studio, one,  and two-bedroom apartments, along with some select penthouse units. These units will have sizes ranging from from 474 to 1,405 square feet. A 26,000 square foot  retail component will also be available at the ground floor of the building.  Additionally, the property will  include several indoor and outdoor amenities spanning 25,000 square feet.

The Wynhouse Miami will feature a fitness center, spa, grilling area, outdoor entertainment area, expo kitchen, and multi-story courtyard. Furthermore, residents will   have access to co-working spaces, entertainment and creative lounges, as well as a second-story lawn area. A rooftop pool area will also be available on the property, offering views of Downtown Miami.

The developer expects the Wynhouse Miami project to reach substantial completion by January 2025. Suffolk Construction is the general contractor handling the Wynhouse Miami development. While Witkin Hults + Partners is  serving as the project’s  landscape architect. Langan Engineering will be in charge of the civil, geotechnical, environmental, and traffic engineering aspects of the project.
