In an ambitious plan that is set to unravel the World’s Tallest Building, Thailand has recently revealed its big plans for the construction of the tallest building in the world that will dwarf the Burj Khalifa, which currently stands as the tallest building in the world at a height of 821 meters. This one mammoth building will be built in Bangkok.

This information was revealed by the Prime Minister of Thailand on his X account just recently, where he revealed the details of the meeting that he held with the Chinese and the Middle-Eastern companies.

Height of the World’s Tallest Building

The precise height of the building and even the total construction cost of the building were not revealed. However, the upcoming world’s tallest building will undoubtedly strip Burj Khalifa the title of the world’s tallest building.

As for now, the name of the tower still remains to be unknown. The building is expected to be of a wide range of purposes as it will possess offices, a number of hotels, and lastly entertainment joints all under one roof. The world’s tallest building project will house an entertainment center, a good number of casinos, a financial hub, and lastly a huge department store.

The spokesperson of the Thai government, Chai Wacharonke, recently revealed to Bloomberg, “The Prime Minister brought on the table a challenge to them of constructing a tower that will stand taller than the Burj Khalifa that is located in Dubai.” “They didn’t say no to the ambitious idea.”

Developers/Contractors of the Building

This ambitious plan of stripping the Burj Khalifa the title of the tallest building in the world is accredited to the Emaar Group. This company could be seeking to break their own record by building this tower. The founder of the construction company, Mohammed Alabbar, mentioned that the talks of this mammoth supertall building are still in the early stages. Additionally, he stated that this upcoming super-tall building would be developed by a number of investors, him personally included, instead of the publicly traded firm.

As revealed by Mr. Thavisin, the investors are still yet to evaluate the possible prospects before making a proposal on the world’s tallest tower project.

The upcoming tallest building project will create a considerable investment value and also attract several tourists. “Promotion of the investments from the private sector is a crucial factor in stimulating the economy of the country and also generate income for the people,” Thavisin added. The former property and real estate tycoon has since established his reputation as the chief salesman of Thailand since he entered the office in the month of September. In a call of catching up economic rivals in the region, he further urged big corporations to bring foreign investments into the 2nd largest economy in the region of Southeast Asia.

The Prime Minister has hopes that this upcoming mega project will be a man-made tourist attraction to Thailand as it mainly depends on visitors.

Indeed, this is not the first time we have come across someone trying to beat the record of establishing or constructing the tallest building in the world.
