Modern Airports Africa Conference 2018

Modernizing African airports through enhanced operations, security and private funding opportunities

Air traffic demand in Africa is forecasted to grow by 7-8% each year on average over the next 20 years, doubling in size each decade. However, with the current capacity constraints, financing gaps and security issues, airport authorities and government are actively seeking solutions in a bid to become the hub of choice for the continent.

With this in mind, we are pleased to organize the Modern Airports Africa Conference where countries across Africa who are actively working on regional airport projects will come together to discuss:

  • Modernizing airports by increasing its passenger and aircraft handling capacity
  • Building a world-class safety and security approach for airports across East Africa
  • Overcoming financial barriers when building and expanding airports across the region
  • Ensuring the initial forecast – projected development is in line with current forecast

Join us at the Modern Airports Africa Conference, taking place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 21-22 August 2018, where Director Generals and other key influencers from the region’s aviation authorities – including Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority, Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, Civil Aviation Authority of Uganda, Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority, Sierra Leone Airports Authority, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Kenya Airports Authority and more – have already confirmed to attend.
