Westcore, a California-based real estate company, recently broke ground on its Corporate Crossing industrial project, which will feature over 300,000 square feet of warehouse space in Rockwall, Texas.

Westcore is also working with Stream Realty Partners, a real estate development company and long-term partner, who will oversee the leasing arrangements and also be in charge of developing this Class A warehousing space on a 43.2-acre site, located at 1515 Corporate Crossing. 

Over the last few years, Westcore has made use of Stream’s unique leasing approach for multiple projects in Dallas and Denver, and now the company intends to further expand on its partnership with this new Corporate Crossing industrial project.

Construction on the project will be led by Grayson Hughes, the Director of Streams; Bates Arnot, a Senior Director of Streams, who leads the central region for Stream’s Industrial Development Services division, will be serving as the development lead; and the leasing will be overseen by Matt Dornak, Stream’s Dallas Managing Director and Ryan Wolcott, the Senior V.P at Stream.

The Corporate Crossing industrial project will span 301,120 square feet of divisible, speculative industrial space and provide its tenants with accessibility to Interstate 30. The industrial project also offers several warehousing amenities which include a 32-foot clear height, a divisible rear load configuration, 68 Dock doors, and additionally, tenants will have the ability to secure the truck courts. Furthermore, it covers the development of  62 trailer parks and 309 car parks, both of which will allow for further expansion based on the needs of the tenants.

Matt Dornak mentioned that the Corporate Crossing industrial project has great potential in the northeast side of Dallas, which is a region with a strong demand for tenants in need of 35,000 to 300,000 square feet of warehousing space. Dornak pointed out that this project was in close proximity to I-30 and a growing population center and labor base, which will serve the supply chain at both the local and regional levels, and in so doing, it will promote the future growth of the area.
