Development plans are underway for building the next unicorn neighborhood in Atlanta which will be named The Signature at Pryor. This was reported in 2021 by developers Lynch Land Holdings LLC.
An affiliate of The Lynch Law Group, Lynch Land Holdings LLC intends to build the community, with two blocks is Pryor street as well. The Signature at Pryor will also include 12 – 18 units, with each unit holding a residential apartment above a street level office and a garage capable of holding two cars.

The units will occupy between 2,800-3,200 square feet and will consist of several community amenities which could comprise of, a small dog park and green space; an open-air gazebo; and a multi-use facility with mail, gym and office components. Pricing for each unit would be set at around $700,000.
The Signature at Pryor is located in Mechanicsville, a Southwest neighborhood of the Urban Land Institute which is also described as “Atlanta’s next unicorn”. It is directly overhead south of downtown, and surrounded by borders consisting of the interstates 20 and 75/85 and the Southern Railway train lines. Mechanicsville might be separated from its surrounding neighborhoods by heavy Infrastructure, but it is still poised to experience growth similar to that happening in south downtown and Castleberry Hill to the north, Summerhill to the east, and Pittsburgh to the west.
The Lynch Land Holdings Principal, Diana Lynch pointed out that several forthcoming developments with potential for increasing growth would be introduced to the community, which include the 13-acre South Downtown project, the transformation of the Gulch into Centennial Yards, Georgia State University’s campus expansion in Summerhill and the redevelopment of West End Mall.
She also stated the developments were coming at a critical time in Mechanicsville history and spoke on the benefits of these developments rising up in all the surrounding areas.
Lynch said, “Mechanicsville is ‘Atlanta’s next unicorn’ neighborhood, determined to have the potential to become as popular as other neighborhoods such as the Old Fourth Ward.”
