Liberia is set to construct a home for the blind and the underprivileged in the country. That’s according to the new President of the Cape Mesurado Lions Club, Lion Davidetta.

During her first speech in the inauguration ceremony, Madam Kotty said her administration will acquire a two-lot parcel of land for the construction house for the blind and underprivileged that don’t have a place to live and referred to the United Blind Association of Liberia located on the old LPRC Road in Gardnersville.”This might sound like a hard task but with God our commitment to serve will endeavor to achieve this goal.” Said Kotty.

The president lauded all Lions, including the immediate past President Caroline Caranda for her commitment, hard work and dedication she exhibited during her tenure.

She called on her fellow Lions to keep in mind more to the ideals and aspirations of the founding father who had a vision to serve humanity and make the world better for all as they continue to work as a team.According to her, Kotty Lions Clubs has campaigned in blindness prevention sight restoration since its establishment in 1999.
