Egyptian housing minister Mostafa Madbouly has promised to offer several projects and parcels of land before the end of the month, to individuals and developers in new cities in a bid to increase investments in the country.
The minister made the announcement during the Cityscape Egypt business breakfast on Wednesday last week, which was attended by major players in the construction industry. The minister has said the government has allocated double housing budget, expected to be at the tune of EGP 28bn this financial year.
The conference was organized by Cityscape Egypt, and was aimed at equipping delegates with valuable information ahead of the four year programme for investment and development to be announced at the next month’s historic Egypt Economic Development Conference in Sham El Shaikh.

The Egyptian government is planning to strengthen the relationship with investors so as to regain their confidence.
Egyptian Export real estate council will start collecting growth rate data which will help investors in decision making process.
