Sisa ngebulana billion group City Regional Mall owned by the high flying businessman Sisa Ngebulana, founder and executive chairman of Billion Group has officially been opened.
The regional mall which is located in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape is 60 000m2 and was constructed at an estimated cost of US $0.12bn with a creation of 4500 jobs during the construction phase.
This development project comes in as ones of the greatest projects carried out by Sisa ngebulana billion group City Regional Mall owned by the high flying businessman Sisa Ngebulana, founder and executive chairman of Billion Group has officially been opened. and is part of a US $1.34bn investments that the company intends to develop in the Eastern Cape region. This will in turn create more job opportunities and contribute financially to the local region.
According to the owner Sisa Ngebulana, the mall has over 150 tenants signaling its confidence in investment in the region.
Ngebulana noted that the BT Ngebs City Regional Mall would have a mix of tenants and will include
Retail shops, banking, home ware shops, health, sports and entertainment spots to ensure that the needs of the 478 000 households in the area are met. 2500 permanent jobs will be available upon total completion of the mall.
In addition, the mall is located off freeway on Errol Springs Avenue which makes it easily accessible with 1975 parking bays.
During the first phase of construction of the mall, the locals offered assistance while goods for construction were also acquired locally.
Phase 2 of BT Ngebs City Regional Mall is currently underway and would have 10 000m2 of office space and a 100 room four star hotel which will be opened next year.
Aside from this project, the Billion Group has invested US $4.95m on roads, electricity, water and sewerage, wetland systems and other infrastructure to benefitting the Mthatha Community.
