Design plans for the Hillview Heights project show that the first five or six of the plots in front, which are along the Transit, are intended for commercial development, while the remaining plots will be set aside for residential development.
The regional property manager for the Young Development and son of the founder, Joseph Young described the Hillview Heights project as the company’s crown jewel and he said it would enable them to bring together the different unit types and complex types that their company has built across Western New York.
Plans for the commercial development include three commercial buildings and these buildings will be a 20,000-square-foot grocery store, and two other smaller restaurant buildings, occupying upto 2,500 and 3,000 square feet each. In addition, the clubhouse for the Hillview Heights project is to be built in the middle of the community and its building design includes a pool, coffee bar, fitness center, yoga studio and an Uber waiting area.
According to Young, the clubhouse is meant to become the hub of the property. He also said, “We’re not only the developers. We’re also the property managers. We build all the product and we manage it in house.”
