In July 2024, the McEwen Northside Block E was topped out. The 300,000 square-foot facility features a dynamic office space above sought-after retail storefronts and eateries on the ground floor. Popular upscale clothier Oak Hall, nationally recognized architects TMPartners and leading supply chain company Designed Conveyor Systems have previously been announced as tenants. A multi-level parking garage connected to the amenity-rich building via a covered walkway will provide more than 900 free parking spaces for visitors and employees.

The entire project is still expected to be completed by Spring 2025.

The Cool Springs Development

Additionally, the McEwen Northside launched Phase 2 preleasing for its Cool Springs development which begun this summer. The development adds 428 more gomes to the community which include studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom layouts for rent. Amenities at the development include a two-story fitness, an on-site concierge is available to help with any task or question they may have, an on-site barista for complimentary custom coffee for all residents. Additionally, there is a resort-style, zero-entry pool, a sand volleyball court, a community amphitheater, and a beer garden.

The much-anticipated expansion of McEwen Northside, a 45-acre mixed-use urban zone inside Cool Springs, is on the horizon, with work starting on “Block E.” Block E, which is expected to be completed in Spring 2025, will bring the McEwen Northside district to almost 80% completion.

The $125 million addition comprises a nine-story, mixed-use skyscraper with high-profile tenants activating creative office spaces and speciality retail stores, as well as destination cafes on the ground floor. A new multi-level parking garage connected to the cutting-edge skyscraper by a covered walkway will provide approximately 900 parking spots for tourists and employees.

Block E will be adjacent to McEwen Northside’s iconic Central Park, a thriving community gathering place, and will feature interactive streetscapes and vibrant public art. The extremely walkable and readily linked form of the block continues to provide tourists with a unique urban experience.

Details on the McEwen Northside development

As McEwen Northside evolves, the popular mixed-use zone welcomes Designed Conveyor Systems (DCS) as one of Block E’s cornerstone tenants. Moreover, the supply chain firm specialises in the design and construction of material-handling technologies for warehouse operations.

DCS will lease 46,000 square feet for its corporate offices, which will include a cutting-edge, technology-enabled showcase enclosed entirely in glass.
