A financing package of $371.5 million has been arranged for the development of the EDITION branded hotel and residential tower in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville, Tennessee, which is one of the most active mixed-use areas in the city.
Walker & Dunlop arranged the financing on behalf of developer Tidal Real Estate Partners, with capital provided by Madison Realty Capital and KSL Capital Partners.
The EDITION branded hotel and residential tower in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville will feature 261 hotel rooms and 84 branded residences in a 28-story tower at the intersection of 11th Avenue North and Grundy Street in Nashville. The tower will feature a spa, meeting and ballrooms of approximately 8,300 square feet, meeting rooms, and a rooftop pool and bar as shared facilities of the hotel and residential tower.
This marks the third development in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville by Tidal Real Estate Partners. The company has recently completed the 1111 Church multifamily development in the Gulch and has a dual-branded Marriott Vacation Club and Apartments by Marriott Bonvoy under construction in the Gulch.
The Nashville metropolitan area has a population of over 2.1 million people and has seen significant business investment in the city as well.
The Nashville EDITION Hotel and Residences joins a growing list of luxury hotel developments receiving significant institutional financing, including a $360 million loan from Goldman Sachs for the Four Seasons Hotel in Jacksonville, Florida.
