The tallest skyscraper in Nebraska by Pickard Chiltern is being constructed in Nebraska, USA; the building is to be 206 metres tall, thus, making it the tallest building in the state.
This sleek designed 44 storey building will be established in Omaha NE and is the planned headquarters for mutual of Omaha insurance company and the tallest building in Nebraska and other neighboring state is planned by the team.

Concepts of the skyscraper depict a glass structure with pre-cut edges with a top-most layer of a semi-glimmering top.
It will consist of 22 offices located by the 17th floor as a ‘sky lobby’ which will occupy 5 floors with such offerings as eating facilities, a fitness centre, and open terrains.
A conference hall it will be two-story on the 44th floor of the tower with “grand views” for the guests.
Designed by architecture studio HOK, the interiors of the tower were designed to help people to be more productive, as they were planned for a flexible work setting by the team.
‘One of the most distinctive successes for me is that on each of the floors there is something different,’ noted the directors of interior of HOK Betsy Graham.
The company currently operates from its headquarters within Omaha’s mid-town area and this tower once constructed is to be west of the newly renovated Gene Leahy Mall at the RiverFront.

Significance
It was due to a proposed new street car line that is to be laid down in the city that led to this decision as was proposed by the team.
“Convenient access to our plan of the streetcar line as a form of modern urban transportation in the planned headquarters tower makes this project possible and gives us the freedom to think creatively in many aspects of this project,” Said James Blackledge, the CEO of Mutual of Omaha when the project was launched in 2022.
As for the decision to build our community in the downtown Omaha, he said: “We are in love with the energy of downtown and believe that the element is critical to the vision for Omaha’s future. ”
Founded in 1997 and conducting business in New Haven, Connecticut, Pickard Chilton is the name of the firm.
Other midwest development: Oklahoma City’s Legends Tower, which, if constructed, would become the second tallest building outside Asia; and unveiled designs for the tallest timber skyscraper in Milwaukee.
