The Torch Doha
Standing 300 meters high at the heart of Aspire Zone is the Torch Doha which has 360 degrees panoramic views. In 2006, the building hosted the Symbolic Flame during the Asian Games which were held in Doha.
The Torch Doha, which is also called Aspire Tower, was completed in 2007. The building was purposely constructed to host the Flame but was later converted into a 5-star hotel which opened its doors in 2012. Since its conversion to a hotel, the hotel has hosted several sports activities and visitors. The 51-story hotel is known for having Doha’s only 360 degrees revolving restaurant located on the 47th floor aptly named ‘Three Sixty’. The building also has a cantilevered swimming pool. Aspire Tower has a private walkaway that directly connects visitors to Villaggio Mall.

Kempinski Residences & Suites
Kempinski Residences & Suites holds the title of the second tallest building in Qatar. The building is located in West Bay’s central business district. The 62-floor luxury suites building was opened in 2010. It has a restaurant on the 61 floor called Zengo Doha which serves Pan-Asian cuisine.

Palm TowersÂ
The 57-floor Palm Towers is a hexagonal twin tower whose design imitates the trunk of the native palm trees of Qatar. The skyscraper was completed in 2009. Palm Tower was is the first building in Qatar to be awarded LEED-O+M certification according to the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The building previously hosted RasGas’ but is currently the headquarter of Qatargas.

World Trade CenterÂ
The World Trade Center Doha is a 51-floor building and one of the tallest buildings in Qatar. The 241-meter high building is one of the most prominent buildings in Doha Corniche. The World Trade Center Doha is currently the headquarters of Qatar Petroleum. The skyscraper is made up of a podium, a high-rise building, a low-rise building, and a sphere. Its construction was completed in 2013.

Burj Doha
Burj Doha is one of the most outstanding landmark buildings in Doha’s skyline. The building’s cylindrical shape makes it stand out among other tall buildings along West Bay especially at night. The award-winning tower was designed by renowned French architect Jean Nouvel who also designed the National Museum of Qatar. He also worked on and revived the vision of H.E. Sheikh Saoud Bin Mohamed Bin Ali Al-Thani and the famous high-rise was completed in 2012.
The 46-storey Burj Doha is also called Doha Tower or Burj Qatar and has a geometric-patterned screen façade that reflects the country’s Islamic heritage. The building has glass elevators that offer a peek into the views of the Arabian Gulf. Doha Tower’s architectural height is 238 meters although the actual structure stands 205 meters.
The building’s top floor offers a panoramic view of the city and the Arabian Gulf. The rooftop is however not open to the public. The structure has an incomplete top floor which stalled following the death of Sheikh Saoud in 2014. Qatar Museums has a Culture Pass program, through which it offers members of the public a chance to tour the office building. Burj Qatar has a hidden lush garden and a bistro at its base.
