The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has warned that it could demobilize work on the Red Line extension project following halted funding. The move is expected to be acted upon unless a federal court orders the release of roughly $2.1 billion in frozen U.S. Dept. of Transportation funding. Another vital transport project that Chicago is working on is the O’Hare International Airport Concourse D, which is also fundamental in facilitating Chicago’s transport hub.
